Mind Masters at Prentice

Through a partnership between The Prentice School and the Institute for Child Development & Family Relations at Cal State San Bernardino, students are taking part in an innovative daily cognitive training program called Mind Masters.

Developed as part of Dr. Eugene Wong’s research on cognitive training, the program focuses on strengthening key skills such as working memory, processing speed, and cognitive abilities that play a critical role in academic success. Unlike traditional Computerized Cognitive Training (CCT) programs that are often offered outside of school hours, Mind Masters is built directly into the school day. This 20-minute routine allows every student to benefit from the practice consistently, without adding to their workload outside of class.

By embedding cognitive training into the academic schedule, the program demonstrates a groundbreaking approach to making evidence-based strategies more accessible to students.
