GED/HiSET Tests
California has approved the use of two high school equivalency tests (GED® and HiSET®) for students 18 years old and older, and 17 years old in some instances, for the purpose of receiving a California High School Equivalency Certificate.Participants in the CSUSB HEP Program will be supported throughout the process until they are able to take the exam. We will provide you with the support and various resources to assist you in understanding and taking the exam in order to pass and attain a High School Equivalency Certificate.
- Instruction for the HiSET, group and individual study sessions, and individual study plans will be provided in English and Spanish.
- While participating in HEP activities, participants will be provided with on-site childcare.
- Support for transportation costs to HEP activities will be provided to participants.
- Dailly meals will be provided to participants at HEP activities.
- All participants will have access to technology and internet as needed
