Utah Canyoneer and Camp - SBC

Experience the incredible landscapes of Southern Utah on this three-day canyoneering adventure featuring stunning slot canyons, scenic camping, and exciting technical challenges. From hiking through narrow sandstone passages and waterfalls to learning essential canyoneering skills, this trip is perfect for participants looking to build confidence while exploring some of Utah's most beautiful terrain.
Our journey begins with a hike through the iconic Kanarra Falls, where we'll wade through a beautiful slot canyon, climb a 20-foot ladder, and take in the breathtaking waterfalls before camping beneath the stars at Cedar Breaks National Monument. Over the next two days, we'll progress through two unique canyons—starting with the beginner-friendly Diana's Throne Canyon, where participants will practice rappelling, stemming, and downclimbing, before tackling the more technical Yankee Doodle Canyon with its exciting rappels and optional challenges.
Throughout the trip, participants will receive instruction in canyoneering techniques, rope management, rappelling, Leave No Trace principles, and backcountry travel while enjoying spectacular desert scenery. This adventure is ideal for those seeking a fun, physically active weekend that combines hiking, camping, and technical canyoneering in one unforgettable experience.
