This workshop will provide students with comprehensive information on abortion access, available care options, and their rights. Topics will include:
- A clear explanation of what abortion is, how it is used in healthcare, and its safety profile
- Types of abortion care available, including medication, in-clinic procedures, telehealth, and mail options
- How CSUSB students can access services
- Paying for care, with guidance on insurance coverage, financial assistance, and no-cost options
- Legal rights in California, including confidentiality, minors’ rights, Title IX protections, and resources for out-of-state students
- Identifying trustworthy sources of care and avoiding misinformation
- How to provide support to a friend in need of care & more!
