Workplace Safety

Safety matters, learning how to prepare, prevent, and/or handle potential dangers is important to maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment. In the session, our University Police Department (UPD) will provide participants with an overview of UPD services and important contact information. UPD will also highlight key resources such as: Clery reports, timely warning notices, campus alerts. etc., employees should utilize to be prepared. Lastly, participants will learn how they can stay safe during potential safety concerns with safety awareness tips, the Dos and Don'ts of calling 911, and safety procedures to follow.

This session is intended for employees and will be held in-person in the College of Education, Room 202 (CE-202) - please pre-register to participate.
