About "Navigating the Audit Trail":
There are risks in all aspects of the campus environment. Internal controls are the business practices, policies, or procedures that help to minimize risk. This session will provide you with a foundation of risk and internal controls by understanding how they impact our daily lives as well as our work on a CSU campus.
Join Howard Lutwak, Director of Internal Audit at CSUN for a discussion of how you can:
- Be able to more readily identify department business risks
- Learn the importance of internal controls in all of our jobs
- Be better prepared for potential audits
- Learn the "red flags" of fraud
