Join us for a three-part, in-depth discussion of Angie Thomas' the Hate You Give, her New York Times best selling novel. Inspired by the real-life killing of Oscar Grant, who was shot by a former BART police officer on New Year's Day 2009, The Hate You Give tells the compelling story of 16-year old Starr Carter as she comes of age while navigating two worlds-one black, one white-each its own realities.
