RIDESHARE MATCHING – VIRTUAL EVENT:
To: All CSUSB Students,
You are cordially invited to join us via Zoom this Monday, August 15th from 4pm to 5pm to learn all about our excellent rideshare matching services! We invite all new and returning students, including existing carpool and vanpool participants, to join us.
This is a great chance to find out how you can reduce your transportation expenses, help us improve our environment and reclaim lost time spent driving alone in traffic.
Drivers – if you are already driving to campus, help out a fellow Yote in need of transportation and save money by sharing expenses!

This is your opportunity to be matched with other participants in our carpool and vanpool programs. These programs are designed to save you money, reclaim lost time and to help reduce air pollution in our community. Our waitlists are expanding rapidly, which means even more opportunities for you to be matched! Joining our Rideshare Matching Program is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Login to the Commuter Portal with your CSUSB login credentials
- Create your profile and select “Yes” to matching
- Let our transportation professionals help match you with other participants in your area!
This event will consist of:
- A short 5–10 minute presentation
- Breakout rooms by area - where you can match with other drivers and participants in your area
- Step-by-step carpool registration (for free Carpool Permit)
- Commuter Portal registration for incentive opportunities
- Question and answer session, including information about other alternative transportation options
