Adventure Welcome Experience - Camp Coyote - SBC and PDC
Camp Coyote offers first-year and transfer students a warm welcome to the CSUSB community, as well as provides some tools to successfully navigate the transition into Coyote life. Students will explore the beautiful outdoors of California and develop lasting relationships while on a fun-filled journey of self-discovery, leadership development, & lasting memories!
AWE is a program within the CSUSB Recreation & Wellness Department and is held the first weekend of the school year. The trip is 3 days/2 nights and consist of up to 50 participants and experienced Adventure Program Leaders. Trip fees includes equipment, transportation from and back to CSUSB San Bernardino Campus or Palm Desert Campus, leaders, meals, activities, and a t-shirt! Join us and have AWE help inspire you for life as a Coyote!

Itinerary
Friday we will all meet up and drive up to Lawler lodge. When we arrive, we will get settled then move on to some ice breaker and “get to know you” games. Then we will prepare dinner and relax the rest of the night.
Saturday We will get up and have breakfast and pack our lunches for the day, everyone will be split into two groups, one group will go to a volunteering event while the other will do some hiking and site seeing. Both will have their packed lunch at their various sites. After that we will all reconnect back at the lodge and play more games, do crafts and relax before dinner. After dinner will have a fun game of werewolves and have smores around the camp fire.
Sunday We will get up early and eat breakfast, pack up our belongings and lunch and head out. Groups will swap and conduct their activities and after we will all reconvene at Lake Fulmor for a closing activity. After that we will all head back to Cal State with our new friends!
Packing List
Sleeping bags will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Accommodations
You will be sharing dorm style accommodations at Lawler Lodge with bunk beds and sleeping bags provided. There are flush toilets and hot showers on site.
