Alamitos Bay Stand Up Paddle Board
Head to Long Beach to enjoy and explore Alamitos Bay and Naples Canal on a Stand Up Paddle Board! Your 2-hour experience includes instruction on safety and the basics. A guide will stay within range until both you and the instructor are in agreement that you are safe and confident to paddle on your own. Beginning paddlers can and should request the instructor to remain with them if they feel the need. You must be able to swim and be in good physical condition to participate. You also need to watch clip #1 and #2 a few times before the trip.
Alamitos Bay is the most beautiful and user friendly marina in Southern California. It is commonly referred to as “The best kept secret between Los Angeles and Orange County”. The water is almost always flat and calm. The beaches are well supervised and there is very little boat traffic. After your SUP you can hang out at the beach and make it a day!
Please arrive 30 minutes before your 10:00am reservation to allow for parking and check-in. You will need to provide your own transportation and meals. No CSUSB Adventure staff will be onsite. Price only includes Stand Up Paddle Board, paddle, instruction and 2 hour use of equipment.
