MyCAP Tutorial

As Spring 2021 registration approaches, Liberal Studies and Liberal Arts majors are encourage to join their PALS Mentors during one of these MyCAP Tutorials to explore a tool that can help plan for course enrollment. 

Why is MyCap important for my success?

MyCap helps me plan my courses so that I can chart my own degree progression.

MyCap helps departments plan how many sections of a particular course to offer each term. For instance, if MyCap shows that 25 students plan to take ENG 3110 in Spring 2021 and 75 students plan to take ENG 3110 in Fall 2021 then ENG knows to offer one section of ENG 3110 in Spring and three sections in Fall.

In short, using MyCap and updating it every time I register for classes will help me get the classes I need during the terms I need them.

Using MyCap will save me time and money by helping me graduate sooner because departments know which classes I need and in which terms I need them. This means I don't end up wasting time or money taking classes I don't need while waiting for the classes I do need.
