Climbing (Short) Book Club

The CSUSB community is invited to CSUSB climbing wall staff in a group in conversation based on a different climbing related article every other week. The conversation changes weekly, but the community stays the same. Regularly meets every other Tuesday 12:30pm - 1:00pm.

Brittany Goris Sends Notorious Joshua Tree Crack Stingray (5.13d)

This short article includes a video of Brittany Goris being the first woman to send the Stingray (5.13d) at Joshua Tree. The article talks about the route and her perspective on climbing it. We will discuss how climbing is like a puzzle. Climbers work hard at the problem, tapping into their creativity and not giving up. We will talk more about the process of climbing.
