Huntington Library and Gardens - SBC
The Huntington Library and Gardens contains an extensive collection of rare books and manuscripts, some of which include historical documents about Abraham Lincoln, the manuscript of Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography, and is the only library in the world with the first two quartos of Hamlet. In addition to the library, the institution displays an art collection strong in English portraits and French 18th-century furniture in the mansion, and San Marino and botanical gardens that feature sections for the historic cactus collection, the Zen Garden, the Chinese Scholar’s Garden and many other specialty gardens. Join us on this eloquent visit to one of the most prestigious libraries in the United States. This trip will depart from the CSUSB Student Recreation and Wellness Center and includes transportation, entrance ticket and leaders. Lunch is not provided. You may purchase food at the café on site or bring a lunch. Outside food is not allowed on the grounds and will need to be consumed outside the Library.
