Zion Camp and Explore - Spring Break - PDC and SBC

March 28, 2022 - April 1, 2022
8:00am - 10:00pm
Zion National Park
Zion allows you to follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers once walked the land. With massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky, you are guaranteed a week to remember. Our days will consist of canyoneering through slot canyons (depending on conditions) in the Narrows along the Virgin River, hiking the Hidden Canyon Trail, Kayenta Trail and the Upper Emerald pools! No trip to Zion would be complete without a visit to the famous Angels Landing trail filled with switchbacks ascending over sheer cliffs with chains bolted on the rock face to serve as handrails. Zion’s unique array of plants and animals will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of present day adventures.

Once we arrive  we will settle in and enjoy the rest of the night playing games and preparing to hit the hay.

Day 2: Wake up early, have a hearty breakfast and pack lunch for later. Start heading over to the narrows where you'll experience gigantic slot canyons as we travel up river stopping along the way to explore. Once we reach a good spot we'll stop and enjoy our lunch with a side of Zion. We'll return and take the shuttle to check out the visitor center, listen to a ranger talk and learn more about Zion Canyon. It's a 5.4 mile hike with a 1,488 ft elevation gain. Angels landing's name came from the first people who once said that the point was so high only Angels could land there.
