CAFS Minors

The Department of Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies offers three minor options: Early Childhood, Child and Adolescent, and General Track. A minor in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies complements a variety of majors including Criminal Justice, Communication Studies, Kinesiology, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, and Health Science. 

The Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies Minor: Early Childhood aligns well with those interested in working with children age birth through eight and their families.

The Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies Minor: Child and Adolescent focuses on those interested in working with children age 8 to early adulthood and their families.

The Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies Minor: General Track provides information about children of various ages, their families, along with statistics and research methods for those interested in both working with and studying child and family development.
