Details: In celebration of Black History Month, the Black Faculty, Staff, and Student Association (BFSSA) at California State University, San Bernardino is proud to invite you to the 13th Annual Pioneer Breakfast.
This year’s theme, “Honoring the Journey: From Liberation to Leadership,” highlights the rich legacy, resilience, and leadership of the Black community while honoring those who have paved the way and continue to inspire future generations.

Details: The theme “Celebrating Black Excellence; Leading and Shaping Our Future.” And to name a few of the honorees for this event are Prince Ogdepkie (Emerging Leader Award), Cindy Black Turner-Wyatt (Staff Award), Aaron Burgess (Administration Award), and Robie Madrigal (Lorraine Frost Ally Award). Since this is the 10th Annual Pioneer Breakfast, we created a new category, “The Village Award,” that will honor some incredible individuals leaving an indelible mark in their respective communities. Those honorees are Terrance Stone, Kiana Webb, Kim Carter, Damon Alexander, Kimberly Calvin, Social Lites Inc., Dr. Gwendolyn Dowdy-Rodgers, and Westside Action Group. The Santos Manuel Student Union, North Conference Center, will hold the event.
