Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

U.S. Navy veteran and CSUSB alumnus Agustin Ramirez '07 '16 was inspired by his love of the university's Veterans Success Center to step up and become the permanent director in 2017.

“I liked having a dedicated space for students who served in the military to have someplace to congregate and hang out. From the get-go, it was a place close to my heart,” Agustin said.

He recognizes his role as director of the VSC as a big challenge, one that has evolved with time and new generations of veterans, but he also sees his efforts as a labor of love for CSUSB and its students.
