Alexia Maciel '23, alumna and 2021-22 ASI Board of Directors member for the College of Arts & Letters, joined ASI due to her interest in doing what’s best for the student population and having a positive impact on the campus. She strived to improve herself each semester, which was no easy feat for a communication studies and political science double major. Alexia chose CSUSB because it was a place she felt comfortable with being herself and recommends the university to prospective students looking for a home away from home.
