CSUSB professor studies glaciers focusing on climate change

Claire Todd, a glacial geologist and professor of geological sciences, came to CSUSB because she was so impressed with the Department of Geological Sciences and the diversity of students. Claire is the author and/or co-author of a number of published studies on glaciers, glacial geology and glacial history. Claire's research on glaciers has taken her to Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state and to Antarctica, where she was part of a research team that studied how much ice the Antarctic Ice Sheet has lost since the last ice age. Much like the rest of the geological sciences faculty, she is deeply committed to her students and strives to prepare them for their careers after college.
