Cal State San Bernardino alumna Nao Yamamoto received her Master of Fine Arts in studio art and design from CSUSB in 2014, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tama Art University, in Tokyo in 2011, specializing in glass art.
Yamamoto, who was born in Japan, creates artwork inspired by the simple beauty of glass and nature to celebrate the power of life.
Yamamoto was a contestant on the second season of the Netflix show “Blown Away.” She notes that although she felt a lot of pressure and anxiety as a contestant on the show, she really enjoyed the overall experience.
