Welcome to the MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) website at California State University, San Bernardino. Our goal is to help qualified undergraduate students advance to doctoral programs and attain a Ph.D. degree in research-based disciplines that have relevance to health (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, etc.). All mentors have NIH or NSF funding and conduct basic or applied research in a variety of health-related fields, including virology, neural plasticity, pharmacology, drug addiction, exercise physiology, cognitive development, and human social interaction. For students not yet eligible for the MARC program, there are preMARC activities that can serve as a gateway into the MARC program. We hope that you will browse the MARC website and become excited about the MARC program. We look forward to receiving your application!
