Cal State San Bernardino welcomed more than 500 guests to campus for Pasifika Culture Night. This year’s celebration was especially significant, as CSUSB hosted the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s Pacific Islander Advisory Group on campus for the first time to co-present the event.

Nancy Matsumoto, who translated the poems of her grandparents, Tomiko and Ryokuyō Matsumoto, and Eri Yasuhara, dean emerita of CSUSB’s College of Arts and Letters, will be among the panelists for the program, “By the Shore of Lake Michigan,” presented by the CSUSB Libraries at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.
