Chang Gung University of Science and Technology

This summer, 15 students from Chang Gung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan participated in Cal State San Bernardino’s second Nursing Immersion Program. Hosted by CSUSB’s Department of Nursing, in partnership with the College of Extended and Global Education, the experience combined classroom instruction, clinical simulations, healthcare site visits and cultural activities to deepen students’ understanding of nursing in the U.S.

Nursing students from Taiwan complete CSUSB’s second Immersion Program

CSUSB’s Department of Nursing, in partnership with the College of Extended and Global Education, welcomed 15 students from Chang Gung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan for a four-week Nursing Immersion Program at Cal State San Bernardino, featuring coursework, clinical learning and cultural exchange.

During CSUSB’s Nursing Immersion Program, students learned about important topics, such as ethical standards and expectations, healthcare terminology, and adult health and nursing care.

CSUSB welcomes Taiwanese nursing students for immersive summer program

Sixteen nursing students from Chang Gung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan participated in CSUSB’s Nursing Immersion Program from July 8-Aug. 1. The program combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience and site observation, enhancing participants’ professional skills and providing a well-rounded learning experience.
