Marlena Brown, a first-generation college student, earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies this fall while working full-time at CSUSB and raising her young son. A passionate mentor and aspiring professor, she’s using her own journey to uplift others — through research, storytelling and her community-based initiative, Mentoring with Marley.

The Certified CourseLeaf Professional is a credential offered to higher-education administrators that demonstrates proficiency in using CourseLeaf solutions.

Patrick Bungard, of the Office of Academic Programs and president of CSU Academic Resources Conference, is leading the conference for the third year. The annual gathering is taking place May 30-June 2 in Monterey Bay.
