Sign up to be on a panel to share your ChatGPT stories. For the Open AI Day events, it is encouraged that participants bring a laptop or mobile device to the sessions that they are planning to attend.

What will your future be like? Learn about new functionalities in ChatGPT such as study mode 
and student prompt pack. Hear about how to use AI tools ethically and safely, 
and for career planning and readiness. Pizza will be served.
1:30 pm - 2:30 pmAI in the Classroom (Faculty-Focused Session)

Hear from CSUSB faculty members about how they are using AI in their classrooms, along with insights from the 
OpenAI team on emerging trends in higher education. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Fadi Muheidat, 
Director of the Teaching Resource Center and Professor of Computer Science and Engineering.

Are you an advanced user? Interested in more advanced use of ChatGPT? Come do a deeper dive with 
the OpenAI team and learn how to build workflows, integrators, agentic flow and how to develop with API.

If your story is selected, you’ll have the opportunity to give a short 5–10 minute presentation to showcase how you’ve been using these tools in your academic or personal life. This is a great chance to inspire others, share your creativity, and be part of shaping the conversation about AI on campus.

From improving workflows to enhancing teaching and research, faculty and staff across campus are finding innovative ways to use ChatGPT and create custom GPTs. As part of October Tech, we’re inviting you to share your experience.
Selected proposals will be featured in a session where presenters will have 5–10 minutes to highlight how they’ve incorporated ChatGPT or custom GPTs into their work. This is a great opportunity to showcase your approach, exchange ideas with colleagues, and help build a stronger AI-enabled community at CSUSB.
