Banker, adjunct professor and dedicated alumnus to receive honorary doctorate at CSUSB Spring Commencement
Cal State San Bernardino will award an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters to alumnus William M. Stevenson during its Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 15-16. A longtime banking professional, educator and supporter of the university, Stevenson is being recognized for his decades of service to the business community and his lasting contributions to CSUSB and the region.

National higher education leader and renowned anthropologist to receive honorary doctorate at CSUSB Spring Commencement
Cal State San Bernardino will award an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters to distinguished alumna Yolanda T. Moses during its Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 15-16. Moses is being honored for her decades of scholarship, leadership and advocacy for equity in education, as well as her enduring support of her alma mater.

CSUSB celebrates legacy at annual Pioneer Breakfast
A premier event during Cal State San Bernardino’s Black History Month celebration, the 13th annual Pioneer Breakfast brought together 400 attendees on Feb. 27 to honor campus and community leaders while awarding 11 scholarships to 15 CSUSB students.

Federal grant funds Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality Research and Retraining Center at CSUSB
“This will strengthen AI technology in our workforce and provide all of you students with opportunities for retraining and training and growth in the VR and AI technology space,” said U.S. Rep. Pete Aguilar, as he formally announced the grant award at CSUSB’s Center for Cyber and AI.

The second Tamal Award and Scholarship Recognition is set for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Santos Manuel Student Union South Event Center. Tickets are $30 per person, with proceeds going towards scholarships.
