Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Upward Bound receives $3.1 million grants to help students advance academically

The federal grants will help the program, which works with high school students, provide one-on-one academic support and guidance, individual and group tutoring, and access to college campus visits.

CSUSB Palm Desert Campus receives federal grant to serve Coachella Valley students

The Educational Opportunity Centers grant from the U.S. Department of Education will serve 850 students annually for five years in the Coachella Valley, providing information and assistance to those who desire a college education.

CSUSB’s goal is to serve 1,500 students annually, 500 students in each district, 29 school sites, grades 6-12 in San Bernardino City.

CSUSB has received three of the 470 Trio Talent Search awards funded by the U.S. Department of Education, totaling $4.16 million over five years, to help local middle and high school students pursue higher education.
