CSUSB’s Department of Physics and Astronomy earns Bronze Award from Physics & Astronomy SEA Change program

“This exciting milestone highlights our department’s dedication to meaningful, data-informed transformation to assess and improve our departmental climate and our ongoing commitment to removing barriers and creating pathways for success in physics, astronomy and beyond,” said Katy Wimberly, assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Six students from Cal State San Bernardino’s Experiential Computing and Engaged Learning Scholarships (ExCELS) program attended the 2025 S-STEM Scholars Meeting in San Diego, joining more than 1,200 scholars nationwide for workshops, research presentations, and networking opportunities in STEM.
