The ceremony marked the completion of the building’s structural frame and brought the campus one step closer to opening its first state-funded building and first new facility in 16 years.

The fellowship is designed to amplify the voices of Latino professionals in shaping national higher education policy, recognizing leaders working at institutions committed to Latino student success.

The event marked the beginning of construction on a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance support services for students and expand access to higher education in the Coachella Valley.
