CSUSB was honored for its collaborative efforts in Homecoming 2021, one of the university’s first major live events after being forced to shut down face-to-face operations because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Brian Levin (criminal justice) said the threat of domestic extremism remains, Anthony Silard (public administration) wrote about the role of a common theme in developing new friendships, and Peter Sturgeon and Mike Singer (Palm Desert Campus) were featured in the ‘Men in Philanthropy’ issue of Desert Charities News.
CSUSB received two CASE Bronze Awards for its work in creating a video and digital viewbook to communicate with students as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the university to hold classes virtually.
Students and staff from the Cal State San Bernardino Coyote Radio & Advertising and Office of Strategic Communication teams were honored with a total of 13 “Addy” awards at the local American Advertising Federation gala on March 13.
Two workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 7 in the Lower Commons.
The award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education® is for the university's “We Define the Future" campaign.
