Documentary, ‘Slavery by Another Name,’ will be screened at the next Conversations on Race and Policing

The film and discussion at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, will focus on when African American men, “often guilty of no crime at all, were arrested, compelled to work without pay, repeatedly bought and sold, and coerced to do the bidding of masters … well into the 20th century.”

“A Multidisciplinary Panel Discussing Slavery, Its Legacy, and the Case for Redress” will be presented beginning at noon on Oct. 29 in the CSUSB Performing Arts Recital Hall.
