CSUSB celebrates the Class of 2017 with four Commencement exercises Saturday.

The university celebrated its commitment to diversity, honoring its graduating African-American, Students with Disabilities, Dreamers, Latinos, LGBTQA and military veteran students.


The donation came courtesy of family, friends and CSUSB colleagues of C.E. “Tapie” Rohm, professor emeritus of information and decision sciences.

History and current events put the two of the university’s faculty — Sid Burk (educational leadership and technology) and Brian Levin (criminal justice) — in the media spotlight this past week.

An awards ceremony will be held at RAFFMA from 6-7 p.m., followed by a public reception from 7-9 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through July 27.

Ten students in Cal State San Bernardino’s University Honors Program will present their senior research projects at the first-ever University Honors Mini Conference, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 9, in University Hall.

The curtain rises on “The World Goes ‘Round” June 9 and 10 at 8 p.m., with matinee performances on June 10 and 11 at 2 p.m.

Longtime CSUSB faculty member C.E. “Tapie” Rohm Jr. died early Wednesday, June 21, after a lengthy struggle with cancer. The family has requested, in tribute to Rohm, for friends and colleagues to provide a kind act of service today in his memory.
