The burgeoning hospitality program at Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus will receive $100,000 from Eddie Sheldrake, CEO of Polly’s Inc

The Child Care Access Means Parents in School grant for CSUSB’s Children’s Center and the Infant and Toddler Lab School will provide funding over the next four years to help low-income student parents.

Cal State San Bernardino held a “topping out” ceremony on Aug. 2, to celebrate the installation of the last beam on the new three-story Center for Global Innovation (CGI) building, which is set to open before fall 2019.

The rankings listed CSUSB as 67th. Money also listed CSUSB among the 50 Best Public Colleges (No. 42) and Best Colleges Where More Than Half of Applicants Get In (No. 18).

Francisca Beer, a professor of accounting and finance, was honored for her work in promoting and facilitating student scholarly research and creative activities.
