
Carol Hood will join 45 academics in the year-long ACE Fellows Program, which will prepare them for senior positions in college and university administration through various programs and training.

Cal State San Bernardino is one of 45 colleges and universities in California participating in the program that will provide debt-free pathways to students willing to perform two-years of volunteer service.

CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales gave a speech at the Santos Manuel Student Union North grand opening; Brian Levin (criminal justice) discussed why the Aryan Nations Knights chose Arizona and commented on the increase of anti-Russian attacks; and Agustin Ramirez (VSC) commented on CSUSB being named a Military Friendly School.

The Golden Apple Award nominating committee said that one can easily feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Professor Michael Stull’s teaching contributions.

CSUSB continues to help students stay on track with additional financial aid and a selection of more focused courses this summer. Registration for summer session opened on April 4.

Paulette Brown-Hinds, who is the founder of Voice Media Ventures and a second-generation publisher of the Black Voice News, earned a BA in English literature from CSUSB.

More than 500 people – students, faculty, staff, administrators, dignitaries and members of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians – attended the grand opening on March 17.

CSUSB has once again been named a Military Friendly® School for 2022-23 with a gold ranking under the large public university category. It is the only California State University to earn gold.

“A Taste of Spain,” held on March 13, showcased the university’s hospitality management program and featured famous foods from Spain and a flamenco guitarist from Madrid. Students in the program shared their stories about how impactful the program has been for them.

The WASC Senior College and University Commission has awarded Cal State San Bernardino the maximum reaffirmation accreditation commending the university for its work and accomplishments.
