Rain and strong winds during Saturday’s culminating Homecoming events could not dampen Coyote pride as students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members gathered to celebrate CSUSB’s Homecoming Week, held Oct. 5-10.
The weeklong celebration featured events at the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses, including mixers, campus tours and activities that gave attendees opportunities to reconnect, explore the university and celebrate CSUSB traditions.
Homecoming events culminated Saturday at the San Bernardino campus with the Homecoming College Showcase and Homecoming Bash. Attendees explored college resources, enjoyed food and participated in activities and giveaways in the Student Zone.
Coyote Athletics added to the celebration at Coussoulis Arena with a volleyball alumni match featuring former Coyotes and current CSUSB women’s volleyball players. The women’s volleyball team later defeated Menlo College, 3-0, in an evening match. The Coyotes recorded 11 blocks in the victory, improving to 16-2 overall and 7-1 in CCAA play.
