Cal State San Bernardino completed its annual six-week Faculty-Staff Giving Campaign to help students by raising $110,688 and besting its planned goal by more than $10,000.

The campaign, which ran from March 15-April 23, encouraged participation from current and retired CSUSB faculty and staff focusing on raising funds for the CSUSB Basic Needs Program or any college, department or program. The fundraiser is run by the CSUSB Office of Annual Giving.

“I would like to thank the Cal State San Bernardino family for their generous support of our students in our annual Faculty-Staff Giving Campaign, which saw us surpass our goal of $100,000,” said Robert J. Nava, CSUSB vice president of University Advancement. “I would also like congratulate our director of annual giving, Carolina Van Zee, and our annual giving marketing and program specialist, Susana Barbosa, for organizing and running a great campaign.”

Since the first Faculty-Staff Campaign in 2006, the university has raised more than $1 million. The donations have touched every aspect of campus life – from students to departments, athletics and non-academic programs as well as keeping the CSUSB campus beautiful.
