Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales, now entering his ninth year in leading the university, will give the keynote address as part of the virtual Convocation celebration at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, sharing the campus’ achievements in the past year along with the goals and challenges for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Convocation will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the California State University System and its 23-campuses including Cal State San Bernardino in March to stop face-to-face classes and move to a virtual format, which is expected to continue through December 2020.

The Convocation will feature faculty and staff leaders, new student leaders, in memoriam slides of university employees who have passed away, presentation of educational milestones, faculty award winners, service award winners, president’s achievement award winners and outstanding employee award winners.

President Morales will give his Convocation address and will be followed by a highlights video.

The Convocation will be start at 9 a.m. via Zoom at https://csusb.zoom.us/j/98006647303. The webinar ID is 980 0664 7303.
