In the tradition of USO comedy shows to entertain the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, the CSUSB Veterans Success Center will be hosting a virtual VSC Comedy Night via Zoom featuring comedian Alfred Robles with guests Juan Garcia and Monique Flores on Friday, May 15 from 6-7:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Robles rose to become one of the hottest young comedians in the country. Two years into his career, Robles was featured in the hit show "Loco Comedy Jam" and the Latino Laugh Festival. Robles was featured on the Comedy Central “Live Fluffy Shop” tour where he opened for Gabriel Iglesias from 2010-2011. He is currently on the road with Gabriel Iglesias on the “Stand-Up Revolution Tour.”

Juan Garcia started his comedy career at the age of sixteen. Influenced by great comedians such as Richard Pryor, and Bill Hicks. Garcia’s comedy covers the struggles of becoming a young adult and every day and personal struggles. He brands His humor as “Truly Comedy” because the only true comedy comes from unfavorable situations turned into humor.

Monique Flores is one of Latina's fast and upcoming comics.  Much of her humor is drawn from her family life, as well as her own daily experiences. Coming from a huge family, Flores characterizes many of them in her on-stage tales. She has performed in front of audiences all over Southern California, including all major comedy clubs such as the Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store and Laugh Factory.
