American Council on Education names new fellow, CSUSB professor George Georgiou

George Georgiou, a computer science and engineering professor at Cal State San Bernardino, has been named an American Council on Education Fellow for 2020-21.

Georgiou, who began at Cal State San Bernardino as an assistant professor in 1992, is one of two academics from the California State University system who were named council fellows for the upcoming academic year.

CSUSB criminal justice program recognized

Cal State San Bernardino’s online criminal justice master’s program has been ranked among the top programs of its kind by a college research and planning guide, Intelligent.com. The ranking, based on an assessment of 156 accredited colleges and universities in the nation, placed Cal State San Bernardino 18th.

“This is a testament to our exceptional faculty, our dedicated students, and the resources and support provided by CSUSB,” said Andrea Schoepfer, chair of the criminal justice department, in the statement. “I am proud to be part of an institution that values student and faculty success and academic integrity.”

CSUSB professor comments on the benefits of yoga
