A workshop for veterans interested in working for the state of California will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at Cal State San Bernardino, sponsored by the university’s Veteran’s Success Center in partnership with the California Department of Veteran Affairs (CalVet).

The Help Shape California Future Appointment Workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John M. Pfau Library, Room 5005. The event is free to all veterans. Registration is still open, but seating is limited.

The workshop will teach the application process, while laying the path to state leadership. Session topics include: Gubernatorial Appointments, How to Get a State Job, Claims Filing and CalVet Overview.
