A celebration, a volleyball match against a regional rival and stargazing highlight the 2017 Homecoming at Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The campus is ready to welcome back its alumni and the community as it celebrates its annual homecoming.

The Homecoming Bash kicks off the festivities at 4 p.m. at the Coyote Den, HPE Building, near Coussoulis Arena.

Attendees will enjoy great food, music, fun competitions, class reunion celebrations, family-friendly activities and opportunities to give back to the CSUSB community.

Events include:

  • Food from vendors
  • Beer garden
  • Family fun in the kids zone
  • Live entertainment
  • Face painting and crafts
  • Inflatables
  • Photo booth
  • Carnival rides and games
  • Giveaways

At 7 p.m., attendees can cheer on the Coyotes women’s volleyball team in Coussoulis Arena as it takes on regional rival Cal Poly Pomona. The Coyotes are coming off a road win over UC San Diego on Oct. 14, and look to carry that momentum into the Saturday match.

Drawstring bags will be given to the first 100 in attendance, and there will be an autograph session following the match.

And from 7-10 p.m., attendees can gaze at the heavens from the university’s Murillo Family Observatory. Students will be on hand to demonstrate the equipment.

Event tickets are free and can be obtained online on the Eventbrite CSUSB Homecoming page.
