Cal State San Bernardino President Tomás D. Morales will host the Riverside Mayor’s Educational Roundtable on Nov. 15 in the University Enterprises Corporation board room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the second time that CSUSB  will be hosting the event.

The roundtable meets quarterly to share updates and initiatives underway meant to improve educational attainment in the city of Riverside. CSUSB is the only college/university outside the city of Riverside represented in this group because Rusty Bailey, the mayor of Riverside, recognizes the significant number of students from the Riverside area who are enrolled at CSUSB.

During the roundtable event, there will be an update to their recently approved master plan revision and a re-branding presentation, with closing remarks by Bailey.

Other roundtable members include: Chancellor Kim Wilcox from University of California, Riverside; President Ronald L. Ellis of California Baptist University; President Randal R. Wisbey of La Sierra University; President Wolde-Ab Issac of Riverside Community College; Riverside County Schools superintendent Judy White; Riverside Unified School District superintendent David Hansen; Alvord Unified School District superintendent Sid Salazar; Notre Dame High School president Robert Beatty; Riverside Chamber of Commerce executive director Cindy Roth, as well as other educators and community organization representatives.
