Lifetime Rocker takes to the stage at the next Summer Wednesdays concert on July 13 as Cal State San Bernardino continues its annual tradition of free weekly concerts in July.

The show will take place in the Lower Commons from 7-9 p.m.

Concert admission is free; parking is complimentary in Lot D, located off Northpark Boulevard and Serrano Village Drive.

There will be concession stands and concertgoers are welcome to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs, and blankets.

Lifetime Rocker was named Best Cover Band at the Temecula Valley Music Awards. Kelly Cowan (vocals, guitar), Geoff Ryle (vocals, keyboards), Joe Schiavone (vocals, bass), and Ray Ortega (vocals, drums) pack a punch with their tight harmonies and versatility.

The band plays everything from classic rock to progressive, to yacht pop, country, Motown, fun, blues, and dance tunes. They will be playing music from some artists such as Steely Dan, Santana, Huey Lewis & the News, 3 Dog Night, Chicago, The Beatles, Doobie Brothers, and Sly & the Family Stone. July 20 – Big O and Friends

Drummer Orlando Reynolds, accompanied by a cast of musician friends, will perform jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, and well-known songs for dancing.

Tunes may include music by any of the following artists: Anita Baker (“Sweet Love”), Kool & the Gang (“Ladies Night”), Etta James (“At Last”), Marvin Gaye (“Let’s Get It On”), The Spinners (“I’ll Be Around”), Stevie Wonder (“I Wish”), as well as other R& B standards.  The band will consist of a saxophonist, keyboard player, bass, guitar, vocalists, and drums.

July 27 – Desperado

The Los Angeles-based Eagles tribute band Desperado is a collaboration of talented musicians who keep the legendary ’70s band’s music alive.

With three fantastic vocalists, Desperado sounds like the real thing. The band’s love for the music, dedication to its authenticity, and quality of impersonation and performance has kept the Eagles’ sound fresh and fun.
