Nineteenth Annual Issue of Student-Run Journal of History Published in Print and Online
Congratulations to the student authors and editors of the nineteenth annual issue of History in the Making. The print issue of the journal is available in the History Department, SB-357, and the online version is available on the CSUSB library's ScholarWorks website here. Great thanks to Jennifer Beamer, Brynn Knowlton, and Stacy Magedanz for making the journal available on ScholarWorks, where individual articles or the entire journal can be downloaded for free.
This year, the journal included research articles on a range of topics including gender and power in the Late Roman Republic, the 1979 normalization of US-China relations through a Soviet lens, connections between eugenics in the US and Nazi Germany, and more. Shorter pieces included an in memoriam feature of Claudette Colvin, a survey of campus protests amidst the Israel-Palestine War, along with film, television, and exhibit reviews.
