A message from the Vice President
Dear Coyote Community:
It is with deep gratitude and pride that I share some of the remarkable achievements of our Cal State San Bernardino community over the past 2024-25 fiscal year. Thanks to your generosity, dedication, and unwavering belief in our mission, we have set a new record in philanthropic support — nearly 3,000 donors contributed more than $16.4 million, the largest total in a single year in CSUSB history.
This milestone is especially meaningful as the 2024-25 fiscal year marked the second-to-last year of Our Defining Moment: The Campaign for CSUSB. Your generosity is not only fueling immediate impact but also helping us achieve the ambitious goals of this historic campaign.
Your contributions have touched every corner of our campus. From scholarships that open doors for deserving students, to innovative programs that enrich our community, to faculty development and university initiatives that advance our academic excellence. Because of you, our students are empowered to dream bigger, achieve more, and step confidently into their futures.
We are equally grateful for the gift of time. Nearly 1,400 alumni volunteered this past fiscal year, a contribution that has been valued at more than $114,300. These acts of service strengthen the bonds of our Coyote family and inspire the next generation to pay it forward.
As I retire from my role as Vice President of University Advancement and Executive Director of the CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation, I find myself reflecting on the incredible privilege it has been to witness the transformative power of our community’s generosity. I have seen firsthand how your support changes lives. While my chapter here is nearly complete, I know that the story of this remarkable university is still being written, and it will continue to thrive because of champions like you.
