Safety Guidance for Student Volunteers

OCE has PPE available upon request for students participating in service activities. The PPE available includes face masks, vinyl gloves, face shields, hand sanitizer, and anti-bacterial wipes. To submit a request, email us at leaveyourpawprint@csusb.edu

Do not put yourself at risk. If you are feeling sick or unwell, do not volunteer in-person. By protecting yourself, you are supporting your community by reducing the spread of COVID-19.

Engaging CSUSB students in community engagement activities is at the core of OCE's vision; to inspire CSUSB students to be active citizens and make life-long commitments to service.

We are committed to providing students with opportunities to engage in volunteering, service learning and community based research opportunities. Through these opportunities and experiences we believe this will empower and enable CSUSB students to engage with their communities - in and outside of class and ultimately contributes to student success.

There are many opportunities to engage with the local community through both academic and non-academic experience.
