Major Course Requirements (Semesters)

• B.A. in Chemistry -Concentrations in either Chemistry or Biochemistry
• B.S. in Chemistry  Concentrations in either Chemistry or Biochemistry
• Pre-teaching credential courses
• Minor in Chemistry

Departmental Honors

A graduating senior will be awarded departmental honors in chemistry after meeting the following requirements:

1. At least a 3.0 average in all chemistry course work taken at the university with a minimum being five chemistry courses;
2. An “A” in a chemistry research course, or another demonstration of ability to do independent work in chemistry,  for example an oral or poster presentation at a conference or symposium.
