Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Campus Receiving and Mail Service

Our Mission

The University Receiving and Mail Services offices are responsible for the processing of university mail, accepting and distributing packages and goods delivered to the university, and coordinating outgoing shipments for its faculty and staff. Campus Stores is also housed within the Receiving department.

Mail Pickup & Delivery Services

Please note that in order for your mail to go out “same day” it must be at University Mail Services no later than 2:00 p.m. Should your department need additional assistance, you may click here to notify us now or contact us by phone at (909) 537-5151.  .

Faculty/Staff Change of Location Notice

In the event that you change departments on campus, you will need to alert University Mail Services and Receiving of your new location. This will enable us to route your mail and packages more accurately. Please click here to notify us of your change of location.

Department Office Closure Notice

In the event that your department will be closed during the normal business hours, (M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) please click here to notify us of your department closure This will enable us to better prepare for deliveries that may be coming to your department.

Intra-Campus Mail

To prepare mail for on-campus delivery (intra-campus mail):

  • Only intra-campus manila or plain manila envelopes should be used for your intra-campus mail.
  • When possible, you should band it separately from outgoing First-Class mail.
  • When using intra-campus envelopes, please remember to cross out the previous address and name.
