I need to add a class to my schedule but it would go over my limit of units per quarter. How can I add this class to my schedule?
Answer
When a student takes more than their allowed units per quarter, it is said that the student is Overloading. Freshmen, sophomores, or juniors have a 17.0 unit limit per quarter. Seniors have a 19.5 unit limit per quarter. If a student goes above their unit limit, they need to fill out a 'Course Overload Permit.' Course Overload Permits may be found at the office of Records, Registration, & Evaluations (UH-178), the department of your major, or at CSBS Dean's Office (SB-207).
