Thesis Formatting and Plagiarism Workshops

We STRONGLY recommend students attend the Graduate Studies Workshops on thesis formatting and plagiarism.

Formatting Workshops

The Office of Graduate Studies is offering a workshop for graduate students regarding the thesis/project/dissertation formatting process. Two topics will be covered: (1) The actual review process, as it pertains to this office, will be explained in terms of deadlines and the correction procedure. (2) Major formatting requirements, including margins, table of contents, headings and tables will also be covered. A question and answer period will follow.

Please Note: The Office of Graduate Studies does not endorse or promote the use of professional thesis/project/dissertation formatters. The University offers free and substantial resources to students who need formatting assistance.

Plagiarism Workshops

Developed by the Office of Graduate Studies, this informative workshop for graduate students will help you avoid the pitfalls of plagiarism. Find out what plagiarism is and how to avoid it through the proper use of citations, better paraphrasing, and organizing your research.

Current dates for these workshops are available on the Office of Graduate Studies website.
